Dawna I Green

Dawna I. Green, Randall, KS resident passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Hilltop Lodge Nursing Home, Beloit, KS. She was 85. Dawna was born Dec. 1, 1933 at Randall, KS, the daughter of Ralph Ray Clawson & Beulah  Margerite (Hutchens) Clawson. She was a 1955 graduate of Randall High School. She attended college at K.S.U., Kansas Wesleyan University, & F.H.S.U. majoring in Education, which she held 2 Masters degrees. She taught 4th grade at Beloit & gifted students around the Oklahoma City area for many years. She met her longtime companion while living in Oklahoma City. They retired together & lived in Las Vegas for a while before moving back to Randall, KS. They enjoyed treasure hunting at auctions & going to garage sales.

She is survived by 2 grandchildren: Tanner Wright, Taylor Barnes; 5 Great Grandchildren. Many nieces & nephews. Many great nieces & nephews. 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her longtime companion – Daniel Sullivan; daughter – Sabrina Wright; brothers – Jim and Jack; and sisters – Dalphene, Patricia & Martha

Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Randall Cemetery with Pastor Dan Daniels officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25th from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Kleppinger Funeral Home, Jewell, KS. Memorials are to the Randall Senior Citizens.
